In little under two years, silver-haired Nottingham gentleman LOWRIE has become a spokesperson of honesty with his songs of lust, drugs, heartache, and jealousy – subjects we all fathom and repress so well.

“It’s amazing to see such a variety of people at my shows. One night I’ll be performing to a crowd of young scene kids and emo’s, the next it’ll be to a load of hip-hop fans. The music I write seems to resonate well with people my age (25), no matter what their background or where they come from.”

LOWRIE creates his own brand of alternative ethereal pop music that seems to have garnered him quite the cult following, and his live shows are definitely something special to behold with his vast array of synths, trap-influenced beats, reverb-laced electric guitars and, of course, his uncontrollable vocal range.

The waistcoat wearing, Doc Martin donning modern man released his graduation mixtape ‘Floating World’ in 2016 which was widely recognised as a strong introduction to the musical world. Singles such as ‘Another Trip Around The Sun’, ‘For Reasons Unknown’ and ‘Hometown Swingers Club’ found their way into some of Britain’s best playlists and earned the adulation of BBC Introducing legend Dean Jackson, as well as tastemaker John Kennedy of Radio X.
Having produced and worked closely with a deluge of artists such as Bru-C, Trekkah, Joseph Knight, Jamie Moon, and many, many more, LOWRIE is now working hard in the studio with renowned producers THE ELEMENTZ to finish off his own debut album ‘NAKEDBODYSLOWMOTION’ with the first single dropping in early 2018.
