Formed in 2023, Swallowtail are an Alternative Rock 4 piece based in Nottingham. Their sound has hints of Sonic Youth’s experimentation, combined with the eeriness of The Twilight Sad, driving rhythms of DIIV and ambient sounds of Just Mustard. They blend the fuzzy aspects of shoegaze with the intricate melodies of post-punk creating an elegantly gritty soundscape.
