Remy is an incredibly talented singer who hails from Nottingham. Inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran, and Paolo Nutini, and John Mayer, Remy combines excellent melodies with songwriting that is entirely personal. With his bare-bones style plus that moving, emotive voice that is apparently effortless for him – you’ll see for yourself when he plays. Remy started out as your typical teenager and played in various shows through school. Working through his mother’s record collection, however, led him to everything from Johnny Mathis to Simply Red, and the beautiful music of Marvin Gaye. You definitely wouldn’t be wrong if you thought you heard some distinct Stevie Wonder influences in his own work, either. His voice is rich and soulful, with stunning depth of emotion. Hopefully, we’ll be hearing more from him in 2018.
