A Review of Eon ReZ’s Beginning – 'Strings of Connection'

Before there was a universe, there was a hum…

Not a sound exactly, more a felt sense of underlying connection, the intuition that the threads linking people and experiences and matter and memory are not metaphorical but structural, not poetic invention but an actual property of how things are. Eon ReZ, Brooklyn-based artist and storyteller and US Air Force veteran, first heard that hum while making 'Strings of Connection', the song that would eventually become both the foundation of his second album The Resonance of Existence and the origin point of the entire ReZ Universe. He did not know, at the time, that a universe was what he was beginning. He only knew that something in the making of this particular song felt categorically different from anything he had made before.

The ReZ Universe, as it now exists, is extraordinary by any measure. More than 480,000 subscribers. Over 6.2 million views. More than two million unique viewers reached worldwide since its January 2026 launch. The project combines original music, spoken word, speculative physics, cinematic visuals and serialised storytelling into a creative ecosystem with its own growing global community, known as the Glitches. It is the kind of creative infrastructure that most artists spend entire careers attempting to build without arriving anywhere near this scale or this coherence. And all of it, ReZ insists, traces back to one song and one hum.

The track itself earns that origin story. Bluesy electric keys, electric bass, punchy drums, brass accents and electronic percussion combine at 128 BPM with layered gospel-style vocals that add genuine warmth and spiritual lift to a production built from the intersection of soul, blues, rock and modern techno pulse. The gospel dimension is not decorative: it connects the track to the deepest available musical traditions of collective meaning-making, of voices finding in combination something that no individual voice could locate alone. The hum, expressed in four-part harmony, becomes something physically real.

For Eon ReZ, the journey from military service to independent creative universe has been shaped by the conviction that consciousness and connection and perception are not separate philosophical territories but facets of the same underlying reality that music is uniquely positioned to explore. 'Strings of Connection' was where that conviction first found its sound. The hum has not stopped since.
