Daniela Is Back With New Sigle - '3RD EYE' - A Review

I keep coming back to how little Daniela seems to need anyone's permission...

Looking across her run, from 'Bésame' (the one that got her compared to Karol G, Camila Cabello and Kali Uchis) to 'One Voice' and 'Dance Alone', the same instinct holds everything together: choose yourself, go after what you want, and make it catchy enough that people sing it back. '3RD EYE' is the latest proof that this isn't a phase.

"3RD EYE" is sexy, sassy pop with an edge and a splash of 2000s grunge nostalgia, fresh and familiar at once. It's wrapped in tarot cards, crystal balls and candlelight, but it flips the mystic idea on its head. This isn't a song about waiting for fate or trusting that what's meant to be will be. It's a playful anthem about going after what you want: if she wants it, she'll find a way.

Her last single, "Dance Alone," was called "sultry, unbothered and completely in control" (IHouseU) and drew press from LOCK, Purple Melon, I'm Not From London and more. Before it, "Bésame" earned comparisons to Karol G, Camila Cabello and Kali Uchis. Her World Cup anthem "One Voice" has passed 328K views on YouTube, and she headlined Café con Rock to a crowd of 280. Now she's back with "3RD EYE."

What I admire most is the craft behind the confidence. She's a RADA-trained actor and a visual designer, and she treats every single as a full world rather than a one-off. Based in Houston and clearly still building, Daniela is making pop with real bite, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing where it goes next.
