The nine-track album blends atmospheric production, euphoric dancefloor energy and intimate songwriting across themes of pain, sisterhood, healing and self-actualisation, tracing a journey from grief and uncertainty toward celebration and acceptance. Focus track ‘Cry Baby’, a sultry trip-hop-inspired collaboration with vocalist Charles, frames garage-influenced percussion and brooding electronic production around a direct confrontation of exclusionary attitudes within feminism while championing solidarity across the trans community. ‘Sister’ examines society’s fixation on trans bodies with striking honesty before unfolding into layers of melodic repetition that create space for empathy and connection.
Drawing comparisons to Oliver Sim, RY X and Elder Island, Dyvr has cultivated a sound that balances understated intimacy with dancefloor immediacy, rich in textured production and melodic detail. Standout performances at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Hastings Trans Pride, Dublin Trans Pride and Galway Pride have established her as one of the UK’s most engaging emerging electronic artists. The album’s release coincides with a London Trans+ Pride after-party she has curated at Unit 58 in Tottenham, featuring an all-trans line-up raising vital funds for trans+ alongside additional performances at Dublin and Brighton Trans Pride.
